Day 01:
On your arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, you will be transferred to a hotel, accompanied by a tour guide. Your evenings will be free for leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Delhi hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Leh
Early morning, you will board a flight from Terminal 1D (Delhi Demoestic Airport) to Leh. Upon arrival in Leh, you will relax in the hotel and get accustomed to the weather. Evenings will be free for leisure; you may roam around the market, do some window shopping and interact with the locals. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 03: Leh
Today is going to be an exciting day as it's going to be the first day of the jeep safari expedition. Lace up your boots, mingle with your mates and embark on a roller coaster ride to Thiksey Monastery, first stopover of the day. Further, you will board your jeep, which will take you to Shey Palace, 15 km from the South of Leh. In the second half of the day, after lunch, you will go for sightseeing to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. Dinner and overnight stay at Leh hotel.
Day 04: Leh - Pangong Tso - Leh (280 Kms round trip)
Finally, the day has come for what you have been waiting! Post breakfast; board your jeep with your mates, which will take you to Pangong Lake via Changla Pass. Today, you will make your way through the Changla Pass, which is the third highest motorable road in the world. After few kilometers, you will start noticing some birds, which means that you are quite close to Pangong Lake. Spend some time at lake, click some photographs and then drive back to Leh for overnight stay and dinner.
Day 05: Leh - Khardung La Pass - Nubra Valley - Diskit (140 Kms)
Today, you will be going for an excursion to Nubra Valley via Khardung La. This particular trail is scenic as you will be passing the highest motorable road in the world, Khardung La (5,570 Mts.). Driving across the Khardungla takes us to the heart of the Nubra valley, Hundar, near to the Diskit monastery. The valley is on the trade route from Leh to Kharga via Saser and Karakoram passes. Also, you will see one of its kind, Bactrian Camels (Shaggy double hump Camel), roaming in and around the valley. After spending some time in the Nubra Valley, you will visit the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. Few kilometres from Hunder is Diskit, which will be your next site for overnight stay and dinner.
Day 06: Diskit - Leh
Start your day with a smile and blessings of the God by visiting the Diskit Monastery, a 700 years old shrine which is one of the highest Gompa of Gelug, the yellow sect. After spending some time at the monastery, drive back to Leh, which will be your destination for the overnight stay and hotel.
Day 07: Leh - Delhi - Home
Arrival in Leh marks the end of your expedition. In the evening, you will be transferred to the airport, from where you can board a flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will board a train or flight, which will take you to your home.
