Referred to as Solang Nala, this skiing slope is perfect for the beginners as it has gentle as well as steep slopes. Auli, Uttarakhand:

Auli is a beautiful destination that is known for its amazing beauty and serenity. One of the best skiing destinations in India, Auli is located in the state of Uttrakhand. The skiing slopes of this destination offer a pristine and well maintained retreat that offers a sense of relief and stress free existence. The destination also enjoyed the pleasure of being the host of 2011's first SAF Winter Games in India. Hosting this event helped Auli come up as an important site on the World's Tourism Map.

Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir:

Gulmarg, Jammu & Kashmir:

In Gulmarg, there are two points from where skiing activity begins. These points are Aparwahat Peak and Kongdori. At Kongdori, amateur skiers find it comfortable when initiating with this activity for the first time, owing to its gentle slopes, while at Aparwahat Peak, the slope descends from a peak of 800 m, which is perfectly suitable for experienced skiers.

Kufri, Himachal Pradesh:

Located close to Shimla in Himachal Pradesh, Kufri is another jewel in the crown of the country. It is a beautiful ski destination. This is a perfect haunt for skiing enthusiasts and they gather here in large numbers to enjoy this activity, particularly during the winter season. Narkanda, Himachal Pradesh:

Besides Kufri, Narkanda is another skiing destination in Himachal Pradesh, located at almost 65 kms distance from Shimla. Though, it is not as popular as Kufri or other skiing destinations, the pleasure derived from this activity is as much as experienced elsewhere. Here there are different slopes for different skiers with varying degrees of slopes. Many advanced skiers love to enjoy skiing experience at steeper descents and to train the amateurs, there are skiing training sessions conducted by HPTDC in the month of January.
